Alex Rodriguez told investigators he ‘used Viagra and Cialis for fun’

Alex Rodriguez not only revealed the names of fellow MLB players who were clients of Biogenesis chief Anthony Bosch, but his use of Viagra and Cialis for ‘fun’ according to bombshell DEA documents.

In 2014, Rodriguez met with two assistant US Department of Justice attorneys and seven Drug Enforcement Administration agents and handed over the names of three fellow players, 시알리스 가격 as reported by ESPN.

The documents show Rodriguez told the feds that Biogenesis founder Anthony Bosch had named Manny Ramirez, 시알리스 가격 Ryan Braun and one other All-Star player as fellow performance-enhancing drug clients.

Per ESPN, 시알리스 가격 Bosch had identified Rodriguez as having ‘low [testosterone] levels for a man of his age’ following blood analysis. As such, Rodriguez admitted to illegally receiving Viagra and Cialis to utilize for ‘fun’.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Rodriguez for comment through his company, A-Rod Corp.

Alex Rodriguez reportedly informed on MLB players who were involved with Anthony Bosch

According to ESPN, Rodriguez met with the federal agents and prosecutors on January 29, 2014 in Weston, Florida.

He was granted immunity under a deal known colloquially as ‘Queen for a Day’ — meaning he could not be prosecuted over information revealed in the session, but had to tell the truth or face charges for lying to federal agents.

The meeting came after Rodriguez’s MLB arbitration hearing, meaning that his statements to the feds, which were likely shared with the league, wouldn’t factor into MLB sanctions.

MLB’s independent arbitrator had already suspended him for the entirety of the 2014 season, finding that he was a drug cheater and had tried to obstruct the league’s investigation into the Biogenesis scandal.

During arbitration, Rodriguez and his attorneys had furiously denied allegations that he’d used PEDs, accusing Biogenesis owner Bosch of setting him up.

According to ESPN, the meeting with the feds was the first time that Rodriguez admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs purchased from Bosch.

The report cited roughly 1,400 pages of unredacted DEA investigative files, saying that Rodriguez admitted paying Bosch some $12,000 a month for testosterone creams, red lozenges containing testosterone and human growth hormone between late in the 2010 season through October 2012.

Bosch, who owned the now-defunct Biogenesis clinic, pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute testosterone and was sentenced in February 2015 to four years in prison.

Rodriguez was never charged in the Biogenesis scandal, and bounced back from his 2014 suspension to play for the Yankees in 2015 and 2016.

He retired from the sport on August 12, 2016 and went on to find success as a media personality and sports commentator.

He currently hosts a simulcast of Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN2 with Michael Kay.
